As she stands before the mirror
Her reflection is a beautiful sight to behold
She was just like the moon beautiful and far
A smile that can make a dump speak out of
Acknowledgement
Her feets so tender like a glass
Her curves! dehm was similar to that of a coke bottle
It doesn’t need no advertisement
Lips like a new born soft as air
With eyes as sharp as an eagle
She walks majestically
With a backside that need no description
Which is why she’s a black epitome
But her type is rare so mystical
When she talks it tunes the ears of men
With her breast up and firm one would
Think she’s a soldier standing at an ease
Please please be mine is all she hears all the time
From all these personages
Some would like to hold her hostage in there hearts
But she’s confused
Should she say yes to another
And get let down again after picking herself up
So many times?
Her heart is scared almost getting cold for love
Oh how she has been misled by men who come as lovers but leave her with black spots like a cheetah
All she’s longs for is a man that won’t cheat on her
Is that too much to ask for?
as she speaks to her consciousness
Believe when I say even the cripple would
Like to walk her down the aisle
With a face that has endorsed
itself in the eyes of men
All she wants is to be loved
Nights of crying over heartbreaks
Tears so crystal clear it soaks up her bedspread
Her body has given up
But her soul longs to be loved
And she deserves to be
But all she thinks to herself is
Are all men the same or is she to blame?
Her intentions are pure and real
Like Jesus turning water to wine
And finding gold in your backyard
She just wants to love and be loved
As she’s patiently waiting for Mr right
She moves on up from where the last man left her
She’s hopeful the one made for her
By the maker will surely cross paths With her
And who knows he might just be the one true love
That brings the moon to lighting up her lonely nights
And her sunshine on a Sunday morning…(saintsam)
